Do you agree or disagree with the following statement Competition among friends usually has a negative effect on friendship Use details and examples to support your opinion

In the last few decades, with the advancement of the contemporary world, competition among human beings has been drastically escalated. On that ground, people might have to compete against their dear once in the realm of competition. In this regard, many people contend that competition between friends could diminish their relationship. On the other side, there is a group of people who consider it as an exaggeration and think in the opposite manner. Certainly, from my vantage point, the latter view contains more weight. For the following paragraphs, I will delve into the most conspicuous reasons and examples justifying my stance.

The first exquisite reason to be mentioned is that even though competing with friends for the same target, friendship cannot be destroyed between two people. This is because friendship is a strong emotional connection between individuals. Indeed it does not damage due to certain external factors such as competition between friends. In fact, it helps in strengthening the relationship between the two. To shed more light on this, my life’s example is a compelling example for what has been elaborated above. In 2015, I and my close friend were preparing for an international exam in order to get admission to dental school in the United States of America. In order to prepare well for the exam, we used to discuss many topics together for long hours. Not only this but also we used to nudge each other to be consistent in studies in hard times. Apparently, rendering mutual help augmented our frequency of contact which made our friendship, even more, stronger than earlier. Ultimately, it is judicious to say that competing with friends for the same goal does not lead to any harm to their friendship.

Another noteworthy point is that competition between close friends can be very beneficial to their personal as well as academic growth even though many people can not see through it. To be more specific, most of the time, people get motivated by seeing their friends and relatives are growing in a particular field which would further enforce people to follow their friends and relatives footsteps in order to accomplish success in their own lives. To exemplify, in reality, I have neither dreamt for higher education nor to pursue my master in abroad, however, my close friend who went to Canada for her masters’, stimulated my dreams to study like her in Canada. Therefore, I started preparing for documentations for the very next semester and took admission to the same college. Hence, it is reasonable to say friendship is not solely a relation between two people but it contributes many benefits to them even though in a time of competition.

To recapitulate, from contemplating all remarks, though many people may not agree with my viewpoint, I strongly believe that competition among pupils would foster their personal growth, and it can make the relationship, even more, stronger than ever.

---------------------
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
