With the improvement of the technology, the education system has changed a lot and professors use different methods of learning for teaching the students. Sometimes, it happens that professors ask students to learn about something as much as possible in a short time and I am of the opinion that, it would be more beneficial for students if their professor requires them to work together in a group. I feel this way because of some reasons which I will explain more in the following essay:
First of all, if students have this opportunity to work in a group, they could use better of their time. Because they could divide different parts of the subject between each other, then each of the students would have enough time to fundamentally focus on the assigned part and on the specific day they could share their knowledge and learnt materials with each other. By this way, as students have to explain learnt materials to each other, it would help them to learn more because people would learn better if somebody explain them instead of studying individually.
Another reason drives me to indicate is that, when students are working in a group, whenever they face a question or a problem, they could ask each other and in that case they could find the best answers and solutions because it is obvious that the output of many brains is much more effective than one brain. For instance, when students are working on a physics question, if they work together they would find the best and more practical solution for that, while if a student try to solve the question alone, he may not consider all solutions to find the best one.
Admittedly, it is obvious that another important effect of working together is that students would learn how to work properly as a team member which is very significant skill and mandatory for the future career life of students.
To draw my conclusion, according to the above reasons, if students work together in a group, further than using more beneficially of their time, they could learn more and they would have this chance to think together on the faced problems and question, hence they could help each other while they are practicing how to be a team member.
