Endangered Species Many environmentalists support the current system of laws that works to save all species that may become extinct. They claim that the current variety of organisms that exist on Earth must be preserved. This idea has long been held as o

The article states that saving the endangered animals from extention is unnatural and has lots of drawbacks and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor explains that even extention of one spices has bad consequances and refutes each of the author's reasons.

First, the reading posits that the extinction of animals and spices does not have any significand effect on the ecosystem and provides an example of the extinction of dinasaurs to illustrate it. The professor refutes this point and discuses the example provided by the author by saying that the authors points are incompilite because he did not mention the great shift in organisems which happend as a result of change in the type of spices that dominated the earth. He states that now that the humans are the dominant spices on the earth, extention of even one animal will have great effect on our lifes.

Second, the article claims that the advent in genetic engineeering makes us independent from the natural sourses and the extinction of animals do not have any bad effect on our medical solutions, however the professor contends that 40% of the drugs are made from natural resourses and extinction in any spices specially plants takes an apportiunity from us to develope a new medicen.

Third, the reading avers that saving animals and spices from extenction is costly and it is not justified. The professor opposes this point by saying that the truth is the opposite and the extection of spices is actully very costly. He provides and example of fresh muscle spices to illustrate this point. He states that there are more that 10000 jobs that will be lost if they get extict.
