The reading text and lecture are both about the dog breeding. The author of this article believe that dog breeder is professional and they breed the dog for the desirable character. The lecturer is casting doubt on the points made by the author in the reading text.
Firstly, the author stats that main aim of the dog breeder is to breed dog for the most popular trait. He state tha,t they are improving the performance, appearance of the dog. They are mainly focusing on the pure breed. In contrast, the lecturer is argues on the topic describe by the author. He state that they are mainly a backyard dog breeder. They only want profit from ther dog . They ignore the animal welfare. As a result, of that purebreeding the intensity of the genetic disorder is increased by many folds in nowadays.
Secondly, the reading passage says that, The popular cultural shows increases the awareness about the dog culture and educate the people about it. Moreover, the reading text says that, this popular shows about various dog is popularized some breed of the dog. On the other hand, the lecturer is agreued that, this popular show also aware the people about health behavior problem of many dog breed. Just because, of that many people dump their puppiess in to the animal shelter house. Even, now they do not like the male puppies.
In conclusion, The reading text and lecture both about the dog breeding. The lecturer is able to effectivly counter the point made by the author in the reading statement.
