The reading passage mentions to three solutions which have presented to hinder the birds to distinguish inaccurately the building's glass with sky that cause some injuries and difficulties for them. However, the professor repudiates three mentioned methods as solutions for savage birds' problem due to some points.
According to the passage, One-Way Glass which known as first solution, mentions to utilities the kind of glass that is obvious in only one way. In fact, in these ilk of glasses, it makes feasible to see out for inside of building but it is ambiguous for birds. The professor rejects this solution due to its negative effect for birds. In the other words, mentioned glasses just reflects the lights and the sky or other natural things' images can mislead the birds. As a result, the presented first solution will fail to attain the demanded outcomes.
Secondly, the professor explains his argument about second method which mentions the colorful design glasses base on some points. In his opinion, this type of glasses that are using lines and designs to modify The birds direction cannot be sufficient due to their trifle dimensions. Furthermore, these glasses reduce the amount of inside's light. So, mentioned method's negative effect cannot be present as a logical solution.
Thirdly, the professor casts doubt about third way which mentioned in the reading and refers to magnetic field. Because, according to birds behaviors, they use the earth magnetic field just for long travel beside that the light and their eyes play significant role to find direction. Consequently, the reading mentioned third points or magnetic field to change the birds direction cannot produce favorable results.
