Employees who are working four days a week would have more extra time to spend with their family and enjoying themselves. The professor opposes this point by explaining that working four-fifths is risky, and could end up reducing a quality of life in term of decreasing job stability and opportunity to advance in careers. Moreover, employees who choose to work four days a week tend to be the first to lose their jobs and be passed over for promotions.
