TPO-02 - Integrated Writing Task In many organizations, perhaps the best way to approach certain new projects is to assemble a group of people into a team. Having a team of people attack a project offers several advantages. First of all, a group of people

In this reading, it is assumed that having a group of team will conduct the projects more efficiently and benefit to everyone in this team. They can also come up with more risky ideas than individuals do. However, the professor claims that according to the survey on the situation of carrying on the projects, becoming a team have no advantages at all.

First of all, the reading claims that the decision of having a group and the consequence of collaboration will be beneficial to every individual. It is reputed in the reading by the professor. There are some people who never contributed to the team in the six months acquiring nothing from the projects. They do not harvest anything , and cannot feel the pleasure or accomplishment as well.

In addition, the reading contend that people will realize they are as a whole and recognize the strength of team spirits. However, the professor points out that it has no means about whether you have a team spirit or not. The idea to cheer them up is totally unsuccessful according to their attitude toward to the whole plan.

Furthermore, the lecture opposes the the argument that the projects will be carrying out more efficient in the reading, for it is hard to reach a consensus in time. It takes long to discuss and make the decision. If there is someone who is more influential claiming that an idea cannot work, then this idea will not be under further discussion. If there is someone who is more powerful agreeing a plan, even there is someone doubting the possibility of conducting the plan, his idea will be neglected. So the while process is more suitable and efficient at all.

At last, if the plan failed, everyone is to blame even they did not vote on the plan or even participate the plan.
