The paragraph states about the positives and advantages of the group work in an organisation whereas the lecture shows the opposite opinion and cast doubt on the paragraph.
The paragraph describes about the advantage of the group work to the company that group has wider knowledge, expertise in compare to the single one. The group can work quickly in response to the task with great and creative ideas. Contrary to this, lecture shows that group generally takes number of meetings for the group to understand the concept and problem issues of the task. In compare to the group, task will be more influential with one or two individual. Some creative ideas by individual are likely to be dropped if the other members ignore.
In the other hand, paragraph shows that taking part in a group process will be rewarding for the members and they feel good if their decision has to be carried out. Also the individual member has a much chance to shine because his /her ideas not only recognized but recognized significant. Whereas lecture tells that some members use to take free ride in the group work and don’t contribute in the task while some individual use to go well inside the topic and put effort in the task. Talking about the feeling of the real contributor, it is opposite to the paragraph because work has been recognized whole as a group and the result of the story will be different if the project fails.
