This example refutes what the Author mentions in the article.

First, the reading posits that a group of people will have better knowledge and experience than an individual. The professor opposes this point by saying that the company has a shocking finding after 6 months from assign the project to the team. They found that some of the members didn’t work well and most of the work given to the others, who don’t recognize by name because they all work to the one team. According to the professor, the ones who work hard doesn’t prefer the team work but they do prefer the individual one.

Second, the article claims that the group can work more quickly than an individual. In the other hand, the professor explains that the same company found that the project doesn’t go as fast as it should be because the team meets many times until they agree on how to start the project. This information challenges what the article mentions.

Third, the reading asserts that taking part in a group process can be very rewarding for members of the team. The professor refutes this point by telling us about how the group team works. He explains that some of the members are more influence than others and that’s how some ideas dropped and other ideas get more attention to it. According to the professor if one of the idea fail the entire team got the blame even if some members didn’t agree on it from the beginning.
