Tourism in Undeveloped Countries
Recently, the phenomenon of tourism industry and its corresponding impact has sparked a heated debate. Although contested by many that this progressing industry is highly beneficial, such issue is regarded thoroughly both constructive and positive by a substantial number of individuals. I am inclined to believe that visiting different places away from own residence for leisure, relaxation, fun and enjoyment can be a plus, and I will analyze it throughout this essay.
From the sociological standpoint, tourism can provide the society with some noticeable effects which are rooted in the fact that economic prosperity, as well as social welfare, are inextricably bound up. According to my own experience, when I was a university student, I performed an academic experiment which discovered popularizing the country and development of infrastructures like improvements in road connectivity, hospitality services, more airline services transportation facilities and rail networks. Thus, beneficial ramifications of both economic growth and providing jobs such as selling handicrafts and domestic products apparently can be seen.
Within the realm of psychological science, tourists might increase the consequences of the cultural issues. Moreover, fundamental aspects of exchanging cultural values relate to this reality that the demerits of cultural degradation pertain to cultural shock. As a tangible example, scientific research undertaken by a prestigious university has asserted that the downside of threading a nation is correlated negatively with some seasonal and unsecure jobs related to tourism. Hence, it is correct to presume the preconceived notion of development speed.
To conclude, while there are several compelling arguments on both sides, I profoundly believe that the benefits of higher living standards far outweigh its drawbacks. Not only do the advantages of boosting up the economy prove the significance of increasing foreign exchange earnings, but also pinpoint local business foster fostering implications.
