When people need to complain about a product or poor service, some prefer to complain in writing and others prefer to complain in person. Which way do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
In our day to day life, we buy various products or services. Sometimes product is defective or broken; we feel angry after knowing this, because we pay for that product, and then we immediately think to complain or replace that product. There are many ways to complain; some people complain in writing; some place their complaint over phone; and some prefer to complain in person. I would prefer to complain in writing, because then only I can have a proof of my complaint. This will help me to follow up, if company rejects to accept my complaint. I can also take legal action against them. However, in other ways, I might not be able to prove with legal documents.
From my own experience, I believe, complaint in writing saves us from loss. Last month we ordered 55’inch LED Samsung TV, and something went wrong in transportation; TV was not working properly; view was blurred. First, we placed a complaint over phone, because we thought, it would be easiest and fastest, but it was disappointing and time consuming. Every time different customer care employee used to give us some reasons. Then finally, we decided to complain in writing, which helped us with proof, as we could strictly follow up with seniors.
Furthermore, every company has its terms and conditions; they mentioned each and every condition in that. If we want to contact them, then customer care is the first option through which we can contact them. But, many times they disappointed us, as we had to call them, and provide them our information again and again. So, I believe, other ways of complain are lengthy, time consuming, and disappointing.
I also believe, in today’s fast paced world, people do not have time to go personally to place complain for any defective product or poor services. Instead, they would prefer to write an email, which is the easiest and fastest mode.
Finally, people prefer the ways which are convenient to them. From my own experience, as I stated above, I prefer to complain in writing, because it allows me to sue the company, if they try to cheat us.
