The table demonstrates the detail about underground railway station in six cities namely, London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington Dc, Kyoto and Los Angeles. It is immediately apparent that London has oldest underground railway station among all six cities and Los Angeles has the newest railway station.

To begin with, London has the oldest railway station which was started in 1836. It has total 394 routes in total. In 1836, 775 million people traveled by underground station in London. Paris was second oldest station, it was opened in 1900. 1191 million passengers traveled per year in the Paris. However the Tokyo was third oldest station, but largest number of people traveled per year (1927 million).

In term of the size London was the largest underground station while the Kyoto was the smallest station. London has total 394 routes while Kyoto has only 11 routes and people traveled by those routes approximately 775 million and 45 million respectively.

In conclusion, Largest and the oldest underground station was the London station and Kyoto was the smallest station.
