The graph below give information about computer ownership as percentage of the population between 2002 and 2010, and by level of education for the years 2002 and 2010
The bar charts outline computer ownership as a proportion of the population between 2002 and 2010 and trends of computer ownership by five education level over a period 8 years. All trends exhibit positive growth in both graphs and also albeit different rates.
To begin with, computers were owned by roughly 60% of people in 2002. The next of following year would see a swell to 60% people. After this growth, steadily increase of 3% per year were apparent. Computer ownership hit 63% in 2006, 67% in 2008 and 70% in 2010.
Secondly, although the increase modestly climbed in the education level of Bachelor’s degree and postgraduate qualification, the indicators of computer ownership were higher rather than other levels with 70% and 90% in former and just shade higher 75% and 95% in latter respectively. The change of computer ownership in high school and college were equally with 30% increase in these period. There was the highest growth in no high school diploma level jumped from just shy of 15% to over 40%.
