Firstly, in 1988 the total expence to us in fish importing was 6.57 billion in which Canada contributed more than half where as the China accounted 13% and 27% Other countries respectively.
Moving next to 1992 witnessed a dramatic fall in sales of Canada, to 34% on the other hand China gained 7%. Other countries experienced a jump in sales to 46%, holding major market share in that period. At the end, in 2000, Canada showed a further decrease in export , at the same time China grew exponentially reaching 30%. Other countries underwent a minimal reduction of 4%, but holded about half of the total sale.
