Some people think that a sense of competition in children should be encouraged Others believe that children who are taught to co operate rather than compete become more useful adults

Children's education is crucial for a country's future success, a country must have a good education to thrive and take on the future of that country. That's why multiple countries have different ways of educating children, some countries encourage competition while others want children to be more cooperative toward other children. This essay will discuss both ways of educating children.
First of all, competition is one of the best ways to motivate everyone to achieve their goal, one such instance of competition is publicizing students' marks and scores, this pressures them to inspire and try to get better marks the next time an exam is in place. Another motivation for competition is human instinct because humans are technically the same as animals, they are born with competitive instincts and will try to be better than anyone else at their job which can be exploited for better goals.
On the other hand, promoting cooperation provides a lot more positive aspects to the children, as most jobs in the current day require cooperation and teamwork so having the children be cooperative is a big advantage. Cooperation also alters the children's emotions to be more friendly as opposed to the more selfish competitive children, which can change how they behave when they graduate. Some people believe that the more competitive people tend to commit crimes more often than the cooperative people, in other words, being over-competitive can lead to unforgiving consequences.
In conclusion, competitive instinct can be used as a useful tool to inspire each other to do better at their work. However, a competitive environment can lead to mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression, thus cooperation provides more benefits to themselves and societies.
