Given is a graph comparing the prevalence of various kinds of usage conducted on the Internet by respondents among seven age groups. All in all, some striking similarities are witnessed across the six categories provided.
News reading through the Internet is a considerably prevailing activity preferred by all age groups, which stood steadily between the highs of 76% and lows of 70%. Second in terms of prevalence is probably performing researches on products using the network resources. The percentage fluctuates between 83 and 70 across all ages, except teens. Surprisingly, not a single respondent from teenagers show interests in this activity.
By contrast, online game is the most popular pastime youngsters enjoy. Over 80% of them picked this choice in the survey, compared with less than 50% in other age groups. Also evident is the fact that people are likely to be less passionate on downloadables all the way up, with only 6% of people above the age of 70 picked this choice. Moderate amount of people from various age groups perform online purchasing and people search as shown in the figure.
