A glance at the table given reveals the popularity of six activities done by people at different ages using the Internet.
It is obvious that online games is considered as the top activity by people under 20, with 81 out of 100 teens playing games online. Its popularity reduces as people getting older and just about a third seniors over 70 years old play online games. A similar pattern can be seen for the download activity, which figures decrease from about a half to 15% by the 40s and then further to a negligible 6% by people aged 70 or above. In stark contrast, while none of the teenagers use the Internet for the product research, a staggering 70% to 80% of Intrnt users from the remaining age groups do such activity.
Getting news and product purchase see medium popularity by people at any ages, having about two third of people doing these two activities online except teens and 70s groups which have just about 40% of them are interested in online shopping. People finding, meanwhile, is the least popular activity. The figure remains about 30% at all times and even see a mere 5% by teens.
Overall, people have different preferences on online activities. Teens prefer online games most, whereas seniors prefer doing product researches. Getting news and online shopping are the popular activities by people at all ages.
