Modern lifestyles are completely different from the way people lived in the past. Some people think that the changes are very positive, while others believe that have been mostly negative.
Examine both sides of this issue and give your own opinion.
As people are living in the world developed economically and socially, people's lifestyles have been changed completely. Some people argue that modern lifestyles have more negative sides than positives sides while others argue that there are more benefits of living modern life. In this essay I will look at both sides and set out my own opinion.
There are no doubt that modern lifestyle is more comfortable than past. People can easily travel anywhere by public transports such as buses, taxies and trains. It cannot be denied that public transport have made our life much easier. Furthermore, the way people live in now is more convenient than past due to development of science. Students can collect information they need from the internet, writing an essay with a laptop and send them to lectures by email. They don't need to spend much time to do homework and they can even get numerous information than past.
However, modern life has downsides as well. City is overcrowded with people which may cause stress because it is getting hard to get a job and a house as it is competitive. In addition, there are more pollution than before. More traffics cause air pollution and a number of skyscrapers cause visual pollution.
In conclusion, some people argue that the way people lived in now has more negative effects than past due to overcrowd and pollution. However, I believe that modern lifestyle has more positive sides than past because it is more convenient and comfortable to live.
