Every society has been composed from different aspects such as culture, social manner, art, science and etc. Based on the rule of “freedom” and “liberty”, everyone is free to choose one of these aspects and do efforts and education on it. Moreover, progressing every society is extremely dependant on progressing in each of these issues and, it is the responsibity of people that enhance themselves and their society by improving every facet of it. However, there would be some cases that people must be careful when they are trying to start it.
The inherent of every human race has been created in a way that needs to be free that could find his/her appropriate facet in life and, act in it. Someone who is facinated in economic issue must be able to choose it freely and start his education or career. When he/she do a lot of research on economic, he will be capable not only progress himself/herself in this field, but will cause society to be improved. Hence, nobody should not feel any kind of restriction in case of choosing and acting in every aspect of society, especially if this restriction has made by government because it will not helpful for both him/her and society.
Moreover, every society will not improve unless any part of it progress. How could you expect that have an educated society when you make some restrictions and limitation for people? Or is it possible that society counted as a prosperous one while the number of successful is lessen? In fact, the progress of any society is highly related to progress of everybody and every part of society and, if any government put restriction, even few, would have negative impact to the whole of society. As an example, I mention to the some dictatorial countries where people are highly limited in their lives. In such societies, neither people nore society will not enhance and always will stuck in a low level of welfare and progress.
However, in some aspects that might bring for humanity some perilous situation, it would be helpful to restrict some researchs and actions. For example, Iran is trying to wide researchs on nuclear power and, try to reach to this science. Most of countries are worry that Iran would make try to produce atomic bomb; hence so many countries are trying to confine its research and investigation is nuclear knowledge. In this especial case, when researching would have hazardous results and outcomes for human race, it would be better to put some restriction and limitation.
As a summary, every human is free to choose a major and do researchs on it and any limitation is in contrast with the liberty rule of humanity; in addition, the improvement of every society is deeply dependant to the progress of its people; in fact, you will not find any country that have mediocare people while itself is improved; however, in some cases which researchs and investigation would involved some dangerous situation for others, it will be advantagous to make some restrictions on it.
