Overall, while number of minutes of mobiles (all calls) and national and international – fixed online increase continuously, billion minutes of local – fixed line call type has the fluctuated trend.
The popularity of Local – fixed line, increased firstly from 72 billion minutes in 1995 to 90 billion minutes in 1995, but after that time by increasing the usage of other call sorts, it arrive at 72 billion minutes again in 2002, nevertheless, local fixed line had the maximum share of number of minutes of telephone calls among this years.
Although the billion minutes of mobile call had the highest growth rate from 1995, it was still at the end list. Billion minutes usage of mobiles (all calls) was less than 5 in 1995, but after 1999, it experienced a dramatic rise and reach at 45 in 2002. The billion minutes usage of national and international – fixed line calls, grew from 38 in 1995 to 58 in 2002.
