The graph below shows the number of complaints made about noise to Environmental Health authorities between 1980 and 1996.
The line graph illustrates the problems that caused of high level of sounds in the city of Newtown reported by Environmental Health authorities between 1980 and 1996. It can be seen that most of people were annoyed by domestic/household activities as time goes by. On the other hand, complaints that given to road works activities were decreased between 16 years.
The graph shows that both of complaints on domestic/household and traffic noise almost have different pattern. They are levelled out towards 1984, then decreased slightly until 1986, next straight again until about 1988, continued to rose sharply, and followed by increased steadily onwards 1992 until the end of 1996.
