The pie charts indicate how money consumption changed in a UK school by three years 1981, 1991 and 2001.
In general, it is clear that the school spent most of the money to pay for teachers and spent the least on insurance over the three years mentioned.
The teacher’s salaries accounted for 40% in 1981, then increased to 50% in 1991 before declining to 45% in 2001. The payment for other workers took the second place of total spending with almost a third in 1981 and 1991. However, in 2001, it was down to the third place with just a minority, gave the second place for Facilities with 23%, which was 15% in 1981 and a small number of 5% in 1991.
Likewise, we could see the percentage of money paid for other resources was just a minority of 15% in 1981 and 20% in 1991. In 2001, the school spent even less than that with 9%. The last one was the expense for health, just a very small number with 2%, 3% and 8% respectively in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
