Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge experience.
These days, wildlife statistical information are easily available from different sources of media and it can clearly be noticed that the population of wildlife was declined dramatically throughout the last fifty years. Since ecology of the world is depended on each other, humans are responsible taking actions to stop this. In this essay, two causes of wildlife extinction, direct and indirect human impact, and prevention actions are explained.
The vital cause of reduction in wildlife population is affected by direct human impact such as hunting and fishing. One of the good solution to protect this is creating wildlife free zone. For example, Myanmar’s government announced Bago Yoma as a wildlife free zone and the number of wildlife in that particular area was steadily increased in next year annual wildlife report. Therefore, the authority will require to enforce such area to protect the extinction of wildlife.
Indirect human impact such as forest fire and building dams are also threading the wildlife. For instance, in Indonesia, land authority expands new lands for building by firing forests every year and in China, because of the big dams on the river, there are drought in every year after rainy season. These human impacts on the environment are also indirectly affected to wildlife. So, before execution of a mega project, the environmental and wildlife impact should be taken into consideration.
Wildlife are being threaded by human for decades and in future, it will in turn disturbed the life of human since the ecosystem is depending on each other. As human, we should stop all the activities that can cost the life of animal species to save not only ecosystem but also ourselves.
