The graph illustrates some information about global water usage in three different sectors during a century, and the table chart compares some matters about water consumption between Brazil and Congo in 2000.
As the graph shows the most amount of water all over the world was used in the agricultural sector. It was about 500 km2 in 1990 then surged significantly to more than 3000 km2 in 2000. According to the table chart in both Brazil and Congo the most amount of water supply was used for irrigating land rather than consuming by per person, and it was more dramatic in Brazil. Dedicated water for industrial and domestic sectors in all over the world was negligible until 1950 then in both sectors a slight increase was accrued, and they reached to the approximately 1000 km2 and 500 km2 respectively.
Overall, the agricultural sector received by far the most amount of water all over the world.
