Given pie charts compares the changes in various sources of energy produced in France in 1995 and 2005. At first a glance it is clearly noted that except petroleum all other sources experienced a significant growth.
Firstly gas and coal were the most popular source of energy in 1995, which contributed about 30 percent each, stood first in 2005 also, with a minute increment. On the otherhand, petroleum underwent a sharp fall from about 30 percentage in 1995 to less than 20% in 2005
Secondly, nuclear and other sources contributed minor proportion when compared to others in 1995, with 6.40 and 4.90 respectively showed an exponential growth and almost doubled in 2005.
Overall, gas, coal and petroleum contributed about 90% of total energy production in France in 1995. Petroleum lost it's contribution largely while nuclear and other sources gained much.
