The charts illustrate the total tourists number, who travelled to foreign countries from 1985 until 1995 and Australia's share of japanese travellers.
The number of japaneses, who travelled abroad in 1985 was equal to 5 millions, approximately. However, the number began growing gradually till 1991, when there was about 11 millions of travellers. Afterwards, the preferance of travelling declined for about 2 millions of people. The chart fluctuates a bit, then begins rising again, and in 1995 it reaches about 15 millions of people travelled to the other lands.
