Essay topics:

Agree or disagree-traveling in own country is better than traveling in a foreign country

I personally feel that people would benefit more from traveling in a foreign country rather than traveling in their own country. There are three reasons for my argument.

Firstly, it is well observed that most people travel for leisure and to experience different cultures. Traveling in a foreign country gives one a plethora of opportunity to interact with new people from different background. Thus, exposing oneself to different cultures. Experiencing different cultures has many benefits for instance it adds new dimensions to one's capability to look at a problem, it also makes one appreciate other people's thinking with a different background etc. Since, traveling in one's own country does not give much exposure to cultural variety, traveling to foreign country is a better choice for that purpose.

Secondly, if one is traveling in his/her own country one os bound to spend in a similar fashion as one earn. Traveling to foreign country gives one an opportunity to travel to more places with the same amount of money. Especially if one is traveling to a country whose economy is not strong in comparison to one's own country economy, he/she spends less of his/her savings for traveling. Therefore traveling to a foreign country also give one an option to utilise their savings judiciously.

Furthermore, I think traveling to foreign country also gives one an opportunity to be on their own. On the other hand, when one is traveling in his/her own country he/she has a sense of familiarity of how things work around the place. They are familiar with the rules, weather, map, local environment of the place. Traveling outside does not give one that much of comfort and luxury. One has to step outside his/her comfort zone to travel in a foreign country. They have to be responsible for their own action. They have to plan ad organise their trips well to avoid any unwanted circumstances. In this way traveling enhances one's personality by becoming more responsible and organised.

Therefore, if one is given an option one should definitely opt for a foreign travel because of the benefits foreign travel provides.
