Data is concerning annual statistics in 2003 and domestic sewage, erosion, phosphates in detergents and pesticides were taken as contributors.
It is apparent from the information supplied that domestic sewage resulted in the highest rates of water pollution in Sao Polo where 65% of pollution caused by this factor. Remaining cities Tai Pei, Tokyo and New York suffered from this factor by 50%, 23% and 41 % respectively.
