Rate of Burglaries
The presented figure demonstrates annual rate of the burglary in four European countries between 2000 and 2009. The shown numbers are per thousands, while, Great Britain, Norway, Spain, and the investigated countries.
It is obviously seen that the number of burglaries in Great Britain is more than the others with two peaks 20 per thousands or 2 per cent in the years 2002 and 2006. On the other hand, the least values belong to Norway, and surprisingly, it has constantly been fixed on 5 per thousands for years between 2002 to 2007.
After Norway, the second country with the lowest numbers is Spain, although decreasing trend of this country from 2005 has resulted in the least value of 4 per thousands in 2009 between the other candidates. Spain has the same value with Greece in 2001 which is equal to 3 per thousands.
All these countries do not have a specific rise or fall trend except Greece which has had a gradual increment from 7 to 13 per thousands for a decade. However, it is still 2 per thousands less than the least value in Great Britain which is 15 per thousands.
