Is it better to travel with a tour guide?
Since time immemorial, the issue of traveling was a controversial one due to its importance but its goals are different in a different era. For example rudimentary people had been traveling to get access to some new and better places in different seasons that is called migration while nowadays people travel to enjoy, relax and satisfy themselves from their leisure time. Regarding to the question I think traveling with a tour guide has some advantages and limitations that are discussed as below.
The very first reason of traveling is to see some new places that you have never visited before. In case of a foreign travel, who can help you to find new places in a strange country better that a tour guide? Owing to their job, tour guides have to know the destination of the travel better than the others so one can rely on them through his travel. Not only are the tour guides a help to find fascinating places so faster and easier, but also they can suggest us some nice spectacular new places.
Each travel or journey needs some scheduling that one should consider before his travel starts. Nowadays, our journeys need booking to prevent confusion when we reach our final destination. As a result, one should know the local places and hotels so well so as to find the best choice amongst all available ones and here is the place that a tour guide can be completely effective and useful. When you use a tour service, they will book you the best choice relative to the money you have paid so you can enjoy your vacation.
I myself like to wander in the streets of a new city that I enter and explore it individually but when I travel with a tour under responsibility of a tour guide I have to obey him while I do not like to be limited through my fun time. Therefore, I am unable to enjoy my journey and feel happy. In this situation, not only I prefer to travel alone, but also I enjoy it more.
Though I feel that with all above references, choosing between traveling with a tour or lonely completely depends on individuals and one cannot take his opinion as granted but were I to choose between these two choices, my selection would be alone traveling due to my personal points of view. Considering advantages and disadvantages of traveling with or without a guide, one can be the one who is satisfied within his journey.
