The table and the bar chart give information about how long it took to travel around a city before and after improvement in term of transport network, also show how much the cost to use different forms of transport in the city.
The most expensive form of transport is taxi, € 1.80 per kilometre on average. Also, it is the quickest, even before transport network is improved. Average journey times are 9 minutes before improvements, and 12 minutes after. Car is cheaper, at € 1.00 per kilometer. Nevertheless, it is slower than taxi. Average journey times were reduced from 10 to 15 minutes.
The cheapest cost to get around the city is by bus. As a result, it becomes the slowest form of transport. Even after improvements, bus must take approximately 12 minutes. On the other hand, Tram with 6 minutes takes the highest significant different after improvements, and the least different is taxi with only 3 minutes.
Overall, journey times relate inversely with cost which have to be spent by travellers. Even though taxi takes the shortest time to journey, bus is more preferable transport for inhabitants who prefer to be economical.
