The line graph illustrates changes of selling gold in Dubai during the year 2002 and it is measured in millions of Dirhams.
THe most obvious pieces of information are that, despite some fluctuations, over the period as a whole the price of gold ends up just a little lower than it started at the beginning of the year.
In the first two months of year, the price of gold increased gradually and stood under 250 Dirhams but then it peaked in 350. Although gold saw the highest price on March, there was a significant decline during the next four months from 350 to about 100.
In the second half of the year, while Dubai's company experienced wild fluctuations from July to October, it reached the top in 200 on August. On November and December the price of gold remained stable merely under 200 Dirhams.
