The table compares and contrasts the data on the changes in students attitudes for five aspects of a university over the 10-year period from 2000 to 2010. The most striking feature from the table is that print resources were always given high percentages of good ratings, whereas the most disappointing thing was always the range of modules offered.
Generally speaking, the period witnessed a growth of students positive attitudes in terms ratio for three fields, namely: teaching quality, print resources and electronic resources as well. Interestingly, the proportions of good ratings for the two formers all had a minimal fluctuation around 65% and 88%, respectively. Besides, electronic resources were the only one which saw a marked increase over ten years, particularly from 2000 to 2005, from 45% in 2000 to 72% in 2005 and a nearly double figure in 2010 (88%).
On the other hand, the figures for the range of modules offered significantly declined by 5% (from 32% in 2000 to 27% in 2010) which were about threefold as low as that for the teaching quality. In addition, the number of students gave good ratings for building/teaching facilities remained unchanged at 77% during the given period.
