How will the proposed study contribute to your career*?
I chose environmental components. The course will provide me with theoretical insights on core concepts and issues in the forestry and environment sectors. The course on qualitative and quantitative research methods will allow me to apply the knowledge gained in the management, conservation and sustainable development of biodiversity resources, environmental protection and research work. I intend to focus my efforts on researching and implementing community forest management with benefit sharing.
If I am accepted to participate in this course in Australia, I will bring in the in-depth knowledge gained from the course that will be applied to community forest management. I will learn new research methods and valuable research experiences, sharpen analytical skills and help me become an independent researcher. With such practical experience, I will also become an effective consultant for forest development policies and techniques in Vietnam. I hope to experience and approach creative teaching methods throughout the course, which will broaden my mind and enhance my research ability. By studying and working with scholars and friends in an Australian university, I hope to establish an academic network where my Vietnamese colleagues can share ideas and experiences to Improve our professional development.
