The chart shows that percent of total population ages, which are 65-74, 75-84, 85 and over between 1900 and 2000 in USA.
If we look carefully, the people who were 85 and overage lived by %2 as the lowest percentage in 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 while their the highest percentage were %1.5 in 2000. In addition, the people who were between 75 and 84 ages live by %1 as the bottom percentage in 1900 while they lived by %4.4 as peak percentage in 2000. And also, %2.9 of the people who were between 65 and 74 ages lived in 1900 by minimum percentage whereas they lived by %7.3 with having maximum percentage in 2000.
To continue with, the people, who were between 65 and 74 ages had a lots changes by around %4.4 along years according to other ages. And also, it was followed by 75-84 ages with %3.4 and 85+ ages with %1.3.
To sum up, generally all the ages group lived more year during years according to older times, although some years’ percentages changed a little.
