Given is the graph providing the comparison of different subjects in the first year assessments during 4 years, between 2008 and 2012
Overall, the number of subjects rose during 4 years and reached the highest level in Computer Science in both years.
In Computer Science, the difference was less marked, with about 70% in 2008 and just over 80% in 2012. However, Business has more than twice as many as in 2012. That year, Business rose to 50%, compared to just 20% in 2008. Thus, the gap between Mathematics and Foundation and Science subjects had widened, at approximately 21%.
A more detailed look at the graph discloses that the pass rate of Business, Science, and Mathematics and Engineering subjects were substantially lower in 2008 than in 2012. What is more, while the Humanities subject has only slight improvement, at approximately 5 and 20 percent in the each year, Health Science experienced the most stable pass rates at just over 40% in both years.
In conclusion, except Health Science, each subject is getting better in every year.
