The bar chart illustrates the percentage of males and females who did exercise regularly in Australia in 2010.
At first, we can see, the teenagers and adult men had more physical activities than teenagers and adult women. The proportion of men is 52.8% while the proportion of women is 47.7%.
In following, women between 25 to 34 did exercise more than the men at the same age. Their proportions were48.9% and 42.2% respectively. The most difference in percentage was for the group with ages between 35 and 44. At this age group, the percentage of the men who had sport activities was under four-fifth of the percentage of the women. The proportions in the group with ages between 45 and 54 and the age group with ages from 55 to 64 were almost the same. The percentages were 43.1% and 45.1% for men and 53.3% and 53% for women respectively.
Finally, for men and women with ages 65 and over, the percentages were almost the same. It was 46.7% for men and 47.1% for women.
To sum up, according to the chart, the women between 25 and 64 did more exersice than the men in 2010. The only group of men who had more physical activities than women, were from 15 to 24 years old. Also, Australian men and women who were 65 years old and older, had the same percentage of physical activities.
