The given line graph illustrates the information about the population size, and also compares the birth and mortality rate of England and Wales for a period of 300 years starting 1700.
Overall, it is evident that the population size showed an upward trend, whereas death and birth rate showed a fluctuation trend. There was a little different in statistic of both rate during given time but trend was almost same.
The death and birth rate were at slight above 25 and 30 respectively by 1700. From 1700-1750, an increase was seen in both these, with birth rate rising from 30 to 40 births per 1000 people and the death rate inclined from around 27 to 37 per person. That rate remained stable for next 50 years, after which there was a sharp fall with both trend. After a flew fluctuation, the birth rate stop at around 34 birth and the death rate touched 20. In contras of down trend, population size rate showed increase for 50 years of starting. It remain same for coming 50 years. From 1800, there was drastic increment in population size and it stood at highest level which was 50.
