Write a letter to colleague who gave you a book that helped you for a presentation at work. You should:1.Describe the presentation2.Why was it important3.How did it help you

Dear Sam,

I am writing to express my gratitude for being a very supportive co-worker. Apparently, the book you lent me last week, "Speaking Picture", was very resourceful in making my presentation this week at office.

Conveying the importance of documentation is often a challenge for anyone. Especially, because the developers always presume that documentation is just a tool that helps the end users and writers only word smith the content. Increasingly, there has been a need to create awareness about how crucial a document for a product to the software engineers. Taking on the challenge of presenting a topic about "Documentation is a product", was not easy. The presentation was a great success and everyone in the room left the room with a new found respect for the work that the documentation team does.

Nonetheless, I would not have been able to make such an impressive presentation if it was not for the book that you lent me.
Pictures speak a thousand words and I was able to put forth all the disadvantages of not having a proper document. Customers, usually check on the website and do their research before they invest any money in a new technology. The first product that any company sells is their document.

I am grateful to you for all the support and encouragement that you provide me at work.

Your sincerely,
Rajie
