According to these materials, the reading passage is about difficulties for human exist on Venus, and the listening is a lecture by a professor that solves these problems.
First, the writer suggests that atmospheric pressure is so high in Venus surface which make it impossible for human to stand on it. The speaker views this issue from an opposite angle. According to him, the pressure amount at 50 Km above the Venus is equal to earth's one, so it is possible for human going to that position.
The second point offered by the writer is due to the shortage of water and temporary presence of mankind on Venus by providing it's sources from earth. However, the speaker casts doubt on this statement by saying that in spied of not existing water on Venus it is a solvable problem. Existing of chemical materials such as carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid demonstrates that acquiring oxygen and water is possible trough chemical reactions. As a result, mankind settlement on Venus is an anticipated event.
Lastly, the writer claims that huge amounts of clouds which reflect 60% of sunlight cause Venus's surface be very cool place both for living and producing power supply used in electrical devices. On contrary, the speaker holds an opposite view. He explains that not only by regulating reflected sunlight but also with ones which can receive to surface, we can produce more electrical energy 100% of beams for using in our instruments.
