The diagram below shows how the parts of old car batteries are used to create new car batteries and other products. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The picture illustrates how old car batteries are recycled to generate new batteries and other materials.
Overall, it is noticeable from the diagram that there are several stages beginning with the collection of batteries from garages and ending with the production of new car batteries, glass and textiles.
At the first stage of creating batteries, old batteries from garages are delivered to a recycling factory by a truck. The solid components are then separated from acid liquid in order for the manufacture of new ones. The process continues with crushing plastic cases into plastic pellets and then new case is produced. Meanwhile, lead grids are put into a furnace, where lead is melted and is ready for the production of new grids. At the final stage, new battery is created by the combination of new cases and new grids with the addition of acid.
Besides new batteries, the first steps of making other products is adding chemicals into battery acid liquid. Next, solid crystal is formed, which is prior to the new products, namely glass and textiles.
