Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they challenge the specific points made in the reading passage.
The reading states that dinosaurs with modern evidences can be categorized as endotherms and provides three reasons of support. However, the professor claims that dinosaurs are not endotherms and refutes each of the point provided by the reading.
First, the reading claims dinosaurs are endotherms showing the evidence that their fossils are found on polar region; non endothermic animals cannot sustain life on cold climate. However professor says that polar region are warmer than today and during colder climate dinosaurs migrate to warmer or hibernate like modern reptile.
Second, the reading posit that physiology of dinosaur and position of leg make dinosaurs similar to endothermic. The professor refutes this point by saying dinosaurs has nothing to do with position of leg. They are evolved to sustain or withstand their massive weight they have.
Third, the reading says that bone structure, presence of Haversian canal strength the idea dinosaurs being endothermic. The professor opposes this point by explaining that along with Haversian structure dinosaurs possess denseness pattern in bone due to periodic growth which is common on replies. Endothermic shows regular growth which is absent in dinosaurs.
