Some people say that it is possible for a country to be both economically successful and have a clean environment. Some others disagree. Discuss both views and give your opinion
The progress of a country is often measured by the economic growth, consequently governments are chiefly concerned with the economic progress rather than other aspects. Nevertheless, many people have a contrasting perspective as they place little credence in the desire to develop economy without any unfavorable repercussions on the habitat is unpractical. From my personal standpoint, a nation may be likely to be simultaneously succeed in economic development and environmental protection.
On the one hand, the economic growth will ineluctably lead to environment degradation. The evolution of an economy that mostly depends on industrialization can necessitate the increase in exhaust emissions discharged from manufacturing factories and the impoverishment of natural resources to meet the escalating demand for energy.
On the other hand, I strongly opine that we can still pose no menaces to the surroundings when boosting economic expansion in the right way. It is obligatory that each territory and chemical plant be knowledgeable about the need to diminish emissions from the mechanical operation by reducing the dependence on fossil fuels. Thanks to the eco-friendly energy sources such as wind, solar and water power, human not only cover the requisite of energy but decline their carbon footprint as well.
In conclusion, even though it is argued that environmental degradation is an unavoidable scenario due to the fact that the economy rapidly accelerate the rate of growth, I would contend that by taking justifiable measure we can succeed in both economic achievements and environmental sustainability
