I think smartphones have had the biggest impact, hands down. While online classes are helpful and e-books are convenient, smartphones are constantly accessible, allowing for instant communication, research, and even entertainment. They can be a huge distraction, I admit, but they're also incredible learning tools when used responsibly. When I need a break from studying, sometimes I will play Slope Game for 5 minutes to clear my head.
