People work because they need money to live. What are some reasons that people work? Discuss one or more reasons. Use specific examples.
People work because they need money to live. What a classic fact isn’t it? That idea is a very old thinking on most of people’s point of view of working reason. Actually, as the world developed, there are many more reasons beyond that on why people are working. In the meantime, working has a much broader reasons including to become a lifestyle and a life satisfaction indicator.
To begin with, in this 4.0 world, people are becoming way workaholic than the world has ever be. Working is part of one’s lifestyle, especially for the young people. For instance, it has become an image to determine whether someone is successful or not based on their employment status. As long as they are working, it means that they are keeping themselves from crossing a fine line between successful regardless of how much money they make, and unsuccessful which described as being unemployed.
In addition, working also means as an indicator of satisfaction. This can be seen in a company with a very high career competition. For many people, to be able to work is one way to reached life satisfaction. For example, someone will work as hard as they can only to sit in a board position in a company with a certain reputable title such as Manger, Director, and CEO, without considering the salary. Through this simple explanation, clearly there are human beings who will push themselves to the limit to work for the sake of position and respect, as they think its satisfaction value is certainly bigger than the money.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Therefore, the cause for someone
is taking any job no longer limited on money as the reason but it gets broader as
the world evolving into a next-level technology era. As it explained above, the
lifestyle and the life satisfaction are a couple of reasons why people think
working is beyond the dollar worth of a job. <o:p></o:p></p>
