The table compares the percentage of saving from earning per individual in different countries for the year 1970, 1990 and 2000.
In 1970, amongst the seven countries illustrated four had the higher percentage of individual saving; First was Italy with approximately 29.5%, followed by France with almost 18.7% then japan with 17.6% and last was Germany with 13.8%.
After 20 years, Italy, France and Japan's personal saving were fluctuated consistently with 17.6%, 12.5%and 12.1 respectively. Whereas Germany still remained the same.
Finally, after the millenium year, France and Japan's saving slightly improved with nearly a 2% increase while Germany and Italy saving dropped by exactly 3%. Furthermore, Canada, UK and USA reached the lowest level of savings during the same year. (2000).
From the data presented in the graph, one can conclude that during the earlier period people from different parts of the world had higher savings compared with recent years.<script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
