There has been a remarkable increase in the number of people who believe that grandparents have an essential role in raising children, while another section of society thinks that this situation has more drawbacks than benefits. This essay will delve both sides of this view before drawing a reasonable conclusion. In my opinion, both grandfather and grandmother are important for raising a child due to their experiences and knowledgeable.
Admittedly, after decades of speculation, child psychologists were able to obtain fairly accurate information concerning positive effects of grandparents on bringing up a child. Perhaps the primary benefit of this is that grandparents have more experiences than parents concerning baby feeding and baby health conditions. According to a report published by the New York Times, pupils who were brought up by grandmother healtier than others thanks to accurate eat habits. Secondly, babysitters might be perilous not only for babies but also for parents owing to lack of real parent love. Real love which comes from grandparents supports creativity and productivity of children. Thus, grandparents should be involved in bringing up the children.
Despite these arguments, there is also a case for the idea that grandparents should not interrupt between children and parents. The main reason why grandparents shoud not be involved process of child bringing is that their penalty methods might be dangerous for children’s pyschologies and even mental healths. A good illustration of this is that children who were given strong punishments cannot cope with complex issues due to lack of confidence. Therefore, parents ought to be prudent concerning their children’s psychological conditions. Hence, the decision as to whether grandparents should be involved process of child rising must be taken in the context of the entire family.
In conclusion, it must be said that grandparents and bringing up children have become a complex issue with no solutions. My personel view is that grandparents might be useful for childrin bringing up because they can easily cope with complex issues thanks to their experinces.
