The given two graphs compare the data about the number of people who traveled to foreign countries including 3 different regions such as Western Europe, North America and Other Areas, during four-year span, from 1994 to 1998. An interesting point to be noted from the graph is that maximum people preffered their foreign trips for holidays.
Overall, while X axis represents the timeline, reason of travel and the number of people are indicated by Y axis. Additionally, during this time frame least number of people visited to North America as compared to other two regions.
Maximum number of people traveled to Western Europe and the purpose of their visit was holiday. Approximately 24500 people visited that region in 1998 and this number decreased slightly in 1997 with about 24000. Furthermore it is cogent from the graph that in 1998, 20700 people, which was highest, traveled abroad for their holidays, while only 990 people's reason for abroad trip was some other reasons.
In addition, in 1994, less number of people, which is close to 1000, chose their preffered destination as North America and this number climed steadily to about 3000 in 1998. However, Other Areas was the second chosen destination during this time span. It is clear from the graph that the second highest reason of travel to foreign destination was Business, which is followed by visit to friends and relatives. The highest business visit was in 1998 with 3957, which went down significantly with 3155 in 1994.
