The linear chart illustrates the information about the pollution level in london which, increased due to sulphur dioxide and smoke from 1550 to 2000 years.

Overall, it can be incurred that the both gases inclined by passing the time and then, decreased in last years.

Initially, it is vividly apparent that the sulphur dioxide introduced in 1600 at negligible point of pollution. The same trend followed by the smoke. In the next hundred years, both went up the foremost reached at almost 750 micrograms per cubic metre. Whereas, the latter gas noticed at less than 250 micrograms ( m3). after that the sulphuric acid showed increment during 1800 to 1900 near about 1000 micrograms before, some downfalls less than 750. The smoke had contributed in pollution level less than 250 to about 400 micrograms .

Secondly, in 1900 the sulphuric dioxide and smoke declined and, it stayed at 500 and more than 250 micrograms. after this, in last years it fluctuated and reached at same point where, the level of pollution stared.
