consumption of fast food in the UK
The graph illustrates the consumption of fast food in the UK from 1970 to 1990. Overall, it can be clearly seen that usage of fish, chips and hamburger increased dramatically while consumption of pizza was declining slightly within 20 years.
First of all, in 1970 hamburger and fish were not popular as pizza. Nevertheless, the consumption of fish and chips increased slightly from 40g per week in 1970 to 110g in 1985 then the indicator increased sharply 290g per week in 1990.
Moving on to line of hamburger, the indicator begun from 80g per week and went up steeply to 150g until 1980 then it can be that there was exponentional improvement of this fast food. In detail, from 1980 to 1990 the consumption of hamburger increased its peak point and this number was approximately 500g per week.
In contrast to fish, chips and hamburger's usage, indicator of pizza is shown differently. In detail, consumption of pizza declined gradually from over 300g per week in 1970 to about 200g in 1985 then this figure went up more slightly 210 g until 1990
